10th Entry

Hello Everyone, sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been a little depressed because my weight hasn't been going down that much even though I've been doing my work on it. Oh well, I guess the reason why I am posting today is I feel a little better today because of what I weighed in.

Today I ended up at 207. 2 pounds. I am pretty happy with that number. As long as I don't go back up in weight then I will be happy. I hope I can keep this up.

9th Entry

Hi Everyone, sorry I haven't posted anything in a while, I've been pretty nervous about my current plan because I injured a muscle last Thursday, long story, but now it seems that I am fine so no worries anymore.

Well, getting right to it, at the end of the day, today, I am now at 209.6, I think that is pretty good for now, I'll try and keep this up and see how it goes.

On a side note, I just came back from bowling and I just achieved a new high score. My previous high score was a 183, now it is a 195. YAY! I wish my current weight was at that number too, haha.

8th Entry

Hello Everyone, sorry for not posting in a while, I haven't been feeling that great but I have still been trying my best with the weight loss.

I decided, today, that on days that I don't exercise, I will have a slim-fast shake for both breakfast and lunch. I think that is working. After coming back from bowling, which I think contributed to the new weight, I am now 211. I think that is pretty good. Almost 210, yay. Anyway, I'll try and keep you updated. Thanks.

7th Entry

Well, I weighed myself at the end of the day today and I was at 213.4. Comparing that I started at 213 at the beginning of the day, I would say that went pretty well.

Since I won't be going to the gym tomorrow, I will have to make sure I have a good diet tomorrow so I don't go back to 215.

6th Entry

Hello Everyone. When I weighed myself yesterday, I was at 212.6. That's not too bad, I've already been doing this for a week and I have lost 3 pounds.

I came back from the gym about half an hour ago and I weighted myself and I am at 211.2. I was hoping for 210 but I don't mind this either, at least I am not going back to 215, yay.

5th Entry

Well, I am continuing my efforts to lose weight and it seems to be going well, even though progress is slow.

I am happy about one thing though, my weight for tonight is pretty good, It says that I am 211.4. I was psyched when I saw that. It means I have have lost more than 4 pounds so far, I hope I can keep this up and keep on losing more.

4th Entry

I've heard of it before from other people now I have experienced it first hand, loosing weight is really hard to do.

I went to the gym today and did my usual workout and I come back and I check my weight, which said 213, it was 215 yesterday, long story how it got back there. Anyway, so I was thinking, "Ok, that is the usual 2 pounds I lose from the workout."

After I eat dinner though, I went back to 215. My god, is there anyway I can lose weight, is going to the gym and trying your best to watch what you eat the only way to do it? If it is, it will be a long and uphill battle for me. I hope I start to lose weight eventually.

3rd Entry

Hey Guys, I said I would post last night but I was really tired and forgot to so I am posting this morning. I weighed myself when I got up this morning and the scale said 213.4 which I was pretty happy about. Then I had to go to the bathroom, I know it is a little disgusting sorry about that guys, then after that I re-scaled myself again and I was 212.4, I was really surprised by that.

After I scaled myself, I decided to check my BMI on that scale and it said 29 which I was pretty happy about since that moves me from the obese column into the overweight column, I know it isn't great but it is better than being obese.

2nd Entry

I just came back from the gym and it was good. I weighed myself yesterday before I went to sleep and it said 213.8, so after digestion it went down a little.

I weighed myself after the gym and now it says 212.8, not as much as I would like but I heard it is pretty tough in the beginning.

Well, I will leave another post at the end of today for the day-end weight.

First Entry

I went to the gym today and worked out for an hour. After I got back home I weighed myself and it said 213.2 pounds. I was very surprised that I lost 2 pounds in 2 days, I'm pretty proud of myself.

Preface

Hello Everyone who reads this, I am a person trying to accomplish something I thought before I wouldn't be able to do. That is to lose some weight. I had many people push me to do this and I finally decided with the start of this new year, I should finally do something about it.

First I did some research into what a good goal would be. I decided to use BMI to decide for me. For those of you out there that don't know what BMI is, it stands for Body Mass Index. It is a scientific calculation using your height and weight to determine if you are at a good weight, overweight, or obese.

I am 5' 6" and weight about 215.2 pounds. My BMI was about 32. Acording to the BMI charts, anything over 30 is considered obese, I was shocked, I never thought I was obese since I was never as big as many other people I see around me, but I guess numbers don't lie. Using my height I found out that the approximate maximum weight that is considered healthy is 150. That is my goal.

I don't know how long it will take but I want to lose 65 pounds and reduce my weight from 215 to 150. Even though I might go a little above that since I might produce some muscle in the process.

I am looking at trying to lose 10 pounds a months. If I can do that, then I will be real happy with my progress.

Well, that is my challenge to myself, I hope I can pull it off.
